This high end Italian olive oil is crafted from a single olive variety, Taggiasca, grown in Liguria’s Valle Argentina. As a true monocultivar extra virgin olive oil, it delivers a delicate aroma, smooth texture, and balanced sweetness without excessive bitterness. The result is a refined EVOO that enhances food rather than overpowering it.
First Cold Pressed Purity
Our cold pressed olive oil is milled within 24 hours of harvest using both granite mill tradition and modern centrifugation, without heating the paste or adding hot water. This protects polyphenols and preserves freshness, producing a high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil with low acidity, clean flavor, and excellent shelf stability.
Flavor, Freshness, And Functionality
Each bottle is harvest dated and carefully stored to maintain quality and prevent spoilage. The taste is smooth and light with subtle peppery intensity, making it ideal olive oil for cooking, finishing fish, vegetables, meats, salads, and dressings. A versatile aceite de oliva extra virgin designed for everyday use and gourmet results.
Frantoio Roi
Roi is a small family-owned EVOO producer that has been operating for four generations. The olive grove and the flavor of the olives are influenced by the surrounding Mediterranean woodland and chestnut trees, the sea, and wild herbs. The olive mill is composed of the traditional mill with a granite millstone and two presses, as well as a newly designed mill with a continuous cycle and cold extraction.
Italian Olives
This estate is located in one of the most unique corners of Italy. Olive trees grow on terraced land on very steep hills and cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The climate and sea influence the oil's taste and aroma. Cultivar Taggiasca is obtained from the first cold pressing, using granite millstone.
Friend of the Earth (FOE)
The olives come exclusively from selected and certified suppliers, who attest that the origin of the raw material is Italian (100% Ligurian). The Imperia Chamber of Commerce samples, analyzes, and evaluates the oil. The oil is also BIO recognized.
