The item is a fraud. It claims to be GPS. It is not. It works with Bluetooth and has extremely limited range, just a few feet. I only found this out by asking a tech savvy friend, because the item came totally without instructions. I asked for a return and got a refund. I only wasted a lot of time on this piece of garbage.
