They will be great on very cold days when out with the dogs. If pick up is needed, there will be no need to take them off. I have some Tom's gloves that I really love but could not find that they made them any longer. They've gotten pretty worn and I saw these as a replacement. I tried a Mukluks brand pair but they were ridiculously bulky.

the only thing I didn't like about it is that they are fingerless gloves which is what I wanted however the wool comes out of the fingertip when I put my fingers through it I have tied the two strings together so that they won't pull out anymore but I'm not sure how this will affect the gloves with wear and tear
