Progresso soups are the best and have less salt than other brands. I will always choose this brand because it's more healthy and taste better without all the extra salt. This soup has plenty of vegetables and meat. We have been eating lots of the chicken with rice and chicken with vegetables and it's a favorite. Progresso soups are very filling and have good ingredients. I like their variety and am very pleased with all their soups and they are a very good value. I depend on Wal-Mart having a good variety and having them in stock.

I have always liked Wild Rice but don't make it anymore so I was happy to see this soup. Wild rice is not the same as regular rice. It is a bit chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. it is black or brown and white. It has good protein and nutrients in it. I did not taste much spice but it does have sodium. There are Progresso soups with lower sodium but I did not see it in this one. I put crackers on it. I ate the whole can and felt very full after I ate. This soup was full of wild rice, carrots, chicken, other veggies and broth. It had a very good smell and taste. Prep: I cooked it for three minutes in the microwave. The thermometer read above 165 degrees which is good for chicken. These cans are large and give you a lot of soup. They open easily.
