probably does more than I use it for
I wish this had a USB-C port, but I use a USB to USB-C converter, and it works fine. I like the green light as opposed to red when presenting. There are quite a few buttons on it, and I suspect it does more than I use it for, but I needed a reliable clicker for presentations when teaching, and this fits the bill. You do have to turn it on and off, but it seems sturdier than the cheaper ones I've purchased that broke within a year.

Did my research, and for the money, the Logitech R800 fit the bill. Very easy to use out of the box. First use was for a major presentation in Vegas, and it worked flawlessly. One of the best features is the timer. It certainly kept me right on track with time, as the LCD display was easily readable with a flick of the wrist. The pointer function worked very well, helping me emphasize important points. Overall, a good value, with Logitech quality, that helped bring a polished and professional presentation.

My. old Logitech presenter finally broke after 13 years, so I ordered this new one and it works even better than the old one. The signal used to be weak, but this one seems to have a stronger and longer signal to my computer. I would definitely recommend it!
