Promax 70 mm Brake Shoes with Thread

I purchased my first set of these brakes a few years a go when they were sold in the store and am now replacing them after 4,500 miles based on my Garmin GPS. I commute to work 60 to 120 miles a week on a 700Cx23 road bicycle. Riding down hill through town I could not stop fast enough for red lights after getting a yellow light. So, I purchased these over sized brake shoes. They may not be the best you can buy, but they do the job. I just bought a spare bicycle and am putting them on it as well before I even start riding it.
