It didn't keep bugs away, and I never saw it kill any bugs, either. Further, it worked for only about 2 months and them wouldn't light anymore. :(

Solar lights with bug zapper.

I bought a total of 4 zappers this summer and was so disappointed in them. One did zap bugs for a couple weeks and the other 3 never did light. I had even purchased cute wrought iron hanging planters to hang them from since it had options to hang by a chain,sit flat or stake in ground. Had high expectations for a "different" kind of look I guess. Thinking they weren't in right location or whatever ,I moved and fussed with them when I had remembered. By then, it was too late to replace or exchange. They weren't cheap so I feel like I was ripped off.
