Update to my prior review

The Genie Company came around to sending me a new lid for free after several discussions with them and leaving unfavorable reviews. I am glad that they decided to honor their program of replacement lids for existing customers.

WAS a fan.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and loved it. Then last tear and into January I was notified that for some reason they (genie) they were changing the lid and would send me a free one Yayyy! Then the new one arrives in January 2025 and after installation HASN'T WORKED PROPERLY SINCE! Now im faced with purchasing a whole new one. I would have given a glowing review year before last, now I just don't know. New lid doesn't fit properly doesn't close properly and doesn't connect to the app at all. I don't think I'll buy another one.
