Amazing New Series!

Wow, just wow! Brynn Taylor, Jack Hudson, and other members of The Snap Agency are desperately trying to prevent a cyber attack that could have international repercussions, and there seems to be no limit to what the terrorists will do to achieve their goal. As Brynn and Jack race to prevent a catastrophe, they also have to work through a past relationship and find a way to trust each other. Will they be able to succeed? Lights Out has it all---intrigue, non-stop action, a thrilling romance, and a wonderful faith message. It also has amazing characters that you'd like to have as friends. Brynn and Jack are great, but I absolutely loved Kekoa, a 'giant Hawaiian teddy bear of a man', and I'm hoping that he'll get his own story. Terrorism is such a threat in today's society, and I found myself wondering what was a figment of the author's imagination, and what might actually happen! Did I like this new book by author Natalie Walters? Yes, yes, yes! Will I read the next book in The SNAP Agency series? You betcha! I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher, but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts!

Fabulous Start to New Series!

I'm a huge fan of Natalie Walters' stories and so I was super excited to read Lights Out. It was amazing! This story takes place on a national stage which is quite the leap from her other series which was set in a small town. Higher stakes. Larger threats. And unspeakable consequences should Brynn Taylor and Jack Hudson fail their mission. So to say this story was gripping would be an understatement. The cast of characters was cleverly varied enough that I could easily tell them apart. That said, on many occasions Kekoa stole the show! (I can't wait for his story) The romance was sweet and clean. I enjoyed the snappy banter between Brynn and Jack. The plot was fast-paced and intriguing. Walters penned another fabulous story that I highly recommend! *I received a copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Countdown to Terror

Wow what an up-to-the-minute, suspenseful story. I loved getting to know the gang at SNAP Agency as they team with CIA analyst Brynn Taylor. The problem is that Brynn has a history with team member Jack Hudson and when they last saw each other, it wasn't pretty. They agree to work together to find an Egyptian spy who is missing on US soil. Oh the scary and subversive things they discover. And it is more widespread than they thought. While they are tracking down suspects and uncovering clues, Jack and Brynn are forced to confront their awkward parting. They are both Christians but still find it difficult to connect. Jack: “When our trust lies in the control we think we have, we are saying we don't trust in the One who is completely in control and completely good.” When it came down to a critical time, Brynn realized that God was her anchor and held her firmly in His hands. The addition of a Princess Bride Movie birthday party was a great break in the tension. Dramatically told story of everything I like in modern suspense: Danger, romance, faith, a quirky but lovable cast of characters and a what-if that could certainly happen today! *I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing on behalf of the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. All opinions are my own.*
