it really works!

I tried another far less expensive product but it didn't read the dry wall at all. Once arrived, it worked like a charm and confirmed my fears that one section of one wall has significant mold behind it. This device helps me plan ahead as to how significant the mold damage is by indicating where the signifiant moisture begins and ends. Thank you!

I like the precision.

We could smell that there was an occasional musty smell coming from our fully finished basement. Try as we might, we couldn't find any evidence of a leak. Within minutes of receiving the meter, we were able to test moisture readings throughout the basement and quickly isolated the problem. Once we knew where the leak was, it was easy to fix (and no ripping out the whole basement to find it). While I am not 100% sure that the readings are accurate, they are directional correct and will certainly identify if/where you have a problem; and the meter is very easy to use and to read.
