This quartz sleeve is the exact same size as the original for my Pura UVBB light. These are very delicate and easy to break. There are three o-rings that the Quartz Sleeve fits in, 2 in the Quartz sleeve adapter and 1 more near the top. I have found what works best for me is to remove the quartz sleeve adapter and carefully slide the adapter over the top of the cylinder to get the cylinder thru the 2 o-rings. Then insert the adapter and cylinder into the head. Now slowly/ gently work the cylinder up thru the top oring.
