- During cold starts, or if the filter becomes plugged, Green Label Parts oil filters include bypass valves that allow oil to bypass the filter. Will-Fit filters often do not have bypass valves. When debris is trapped inside these filters, oil pressure can be starved, resulting in high oil pressures, failed gaskets, and even engine failure.
