The rods spin smoothly, have good heft. The table plays true. The laminate was peeled a bit on a corner of the top of the table when it arrived, and the housing to which you attach the foot had come off of one leg - that I easily knocked back into place, and I think it'll stay. Also, lots of little bits of styrofoam were scattered in our house when we opened the box. They should switch out styrofoam for a sustainable material. Those are relatively minor things. It's a good table that we've already gotten a lot of use out of.
