I haven't worn a knit cap since 4th grade! By 5th grade I had became more aware of my appearance, so knit caps were out — due to crazy ‘electrostatic hair' when cap was removed. Plus they itched, they never stayed put, and they needed constant adjustment — so annoying. But with Fall approaching, on a whim, I decided to order one. Give it another try. This cap didn't look as long as most, and it looked so soft and cozy. That being said, I was amazed at just how soft it was; especially since it was SO lightweight — I could hardly tell I had it on! So I wore it around the house while I tidied up. When I was finished, the first thought that came to mind: my head's not hot, no sweating … and my head wasn't itchy !! Then, when I took it off … NO ‘electrostatic hair' sticking out in every direction! I have long curly hair which frizzes at everything — but not this cap. I was so impressed. I am almost 5'4” with long curly hair and had no trouble tucking all of my hair under the cap. I was able to wear the cap just above my eyes (if very cold out) or further back behind my bangs and it stayed-put every time. Note: IF you have a fairly large noggin AND long thick hair this may not be the cap for you (see photos) as the cap itself is not that large. Considering this cap has remedied everything I hated about knit caps back in the 4th grade (hot, itchy, too tall, constantly adjusting, crazy ‘electrostatic' hair) and it's SO plush and lightweight, this rates a solid 5/5 stars. Highly recommend.

Although it's not winter yet, I wanted to be prepared. You won't regret buying this hat. It fits perfectly and it's so comfortable!!! I will love this for forever! Even when my sister keeps it extra cold in the house, I'm using it to walk around her house.
