With age, the eyes lose their ability to see as clearly as in younger years. This may be linked to the health of the central part of the eye – called the macula. This macula is responsible for central, accurate vision and light absorption. But over time, it loses color pigments, on which it relies, and our vision can suffer. Fortunately, we can find these color pigments in foods like carrots, blueberries and dark green vegetables. Blue Berry™ Strong contains colors from bilberry extract, as well as carotenoids from the marigold flower, as lutein.

Improved colour vision
I bought these for an elderly relative who has fairly serious macular degeneration. She cannot see colour if too far from the TV. I started taking as well for maintenance of eye health, but have no diagnosed eye problems. I noticed colours do seem more vivid. My relative reported that after 6-8 weeks of usage, she can see colour while watching TV even from a distance. Her poor distance vision is unaffected, but she is pleased with the improvement in colour vision.
