Pride of India Long Grain Jasmine Rice is grown in the mountainous highlands of Thailand and is popularly called 'Hom Mali' rice due to its sweet fragrance and aroma. It is also known as Thai Fragrant Rice. Jasmine Rice is used to infuse jasmine flavor and aroma in the dishes. It is known as world's best rice which imparts a nutty flavor. It's best used in stir-frys, grilled, fried dishes and soups too. In order to cook white jasmine rice, soak it in water for 20-30 minutes and rinse it 3-4 times until the water becomes clear. Use 2 cups of water per 1 cup of dry rice and put it in a pot on low flame. Cover the pot once the water reaches to the level of the rice. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Serve it hot.
