I use to wear Columbia trail shoes, but the prices were getting too high. The ozark trails looked a lot like the columbias, so i decided to try them. they worked just as good and wore as good as my triple priced columbias. Walmart ran a sale on them, so i bought another pair to put up to use when my first pair wears out. Waterproof, cushioning is great, durable, and good traction.

Will Get the Job Done

My 5-star rating for Ozark Trail's low hiker boot compares it to other boots and hiking shoes in its price category. Pros: true to size, feet did not sweat after 4 hours of indoor use, fairly comfortable, soft gel-type insole, would probably order again. Somewhat similar to Walmart's George Rugged Casual Shoe, but with a better tread pattern. Cons: 1/4 mile break in, unforgiving hard rubber soles, requires the effort of a running shoe to tighten the shoe laces, not much arch support. Seems fine for casual everyday use. Evaluated after one day of wearing.
