Hundreds of parts, 90 lb. box, and NO instructions
The bed holds a mattress and but I'll be looking locally at a big box or other source. We just moved and needed a couple bed frames so tried this one 1st. My suggestion is to do the same - a headboard, footboard, rails and some slats are all you should need to put together a good, solid bed frame. This thing comes with hundreds of pieces and you are the manufacturer/assembler of that. The worst part personally however was there were NO INSTRUCTIONS included in our box. I found and emailed the manufacturer via a contact form at Linsy for assembly instructions - they emailed back asking for the order number which I provided, then, sent one follow up email that they had "closed the ticket". No support. I eventually found a video of the assembly (on another site) and _after_3_hours_ watching, backing up and rewatching after every few parts - and also including needing to take a couple parts apart and put back again because I couldn't make out some details correctly from the sped up, non captioned video - the bed was put together. Additionally there were a few slight fit issues with some of the wood that had some minor warping but that made it difficult to screw the parts together, including a side rail and some of the slats. Also no parts list so you're starting from faith lol I will not buy another one of these and suggest you look for one with fewer parts, or better, shop around your town or nearby. .
