I can tell you I have tried very many French Onion Dips and none of them compared to Dean's but as for my family, they enjoy it like I said I have bought other brands and my family did not enjoy it and yes, maybe it was cheaper but if your family won't eat it then why buy something they won't eat? I don't force my family to eat anything. They don't want to eat. I'm just glad I'm able to put it on the table to be a good mom.

This brand of dip has the taste that I know and like. I have tried making onion dip from scratch. I have tried a variety of other similar products. But, I always come back to this one. The taste is mild and complements chips and/or vegetables without taking center stage.

i believe this company bought out atlanta dairy a while back and took over the french onion dip end also. atlanta daries had more onion in it than this one. however this is the best one you will find on the market today unless you want to pay the premium price for a little more onion
