I purchased a 2014 Toyota 4Runner that I had a bit of trouble getting in and out of. After seeing that the Toyota stock running boards were out of my price range, I started looking for ones similar to those that my boyfriend has on his Tundra. These were a great price, shipped quickly, and weren't too awful hard to install. (Although I can't speak too freely in that regard as my boyfriend ended up doing it for me after seeing me sitting on the sidewalk for a few minutes, poring over the instructions.)
