It took some time to put together, but it is not difficult. It is almost fool-proof. The drawers are not super free-moving, but they do get the job done. For the money spent, this is the way to go. I just spent an eternity painting our daughter's furniture.... just buy it in the color you want. It's cheaper in the long-run with time/paint/aggravation spent (we are talking sanding, primer, sanding, one coat, more sanding, and then final coat- did I mention brush marks and bubbles- no fun at all. I decided to splurge on my son's room with a new chest of drawers. The drawers look excellent.... They even added a new-wood-smell to my son's room- a definite improvement for sure... almost like a new-car smell, but a new-wood smell :) I would recommend this product to my friends and family.
