These are easily repositioned and yet do not move around after you put them in place. So far they are not holding dirt and are safer than the bare wood I placed them on. I used to slip on the stairs after a small bit of rain outside but not with these. I had enough for all the stairs plus one extra, which I placed on the wooden landing inside the door for extra traction on wet shoes. The dark brown ones I got have a simple pattern that gives the stair runners just a little bit of flair and adds to the appearance of the previously plain wood.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this discovery. My basement stairs are so dirty because of the kids going up and down I figured I would get is a shot. They literally took me about 10 minutes to add him. He's here to my basement stairs. They look so cute. The pattern on them is really nice. The color is exactly as depicted online and the quality is good to the tape on the back so easily comes off and the little tab on the plastic makes it even more super convenient I expect to buy more of these for my upstairs as well.
