Decide whether you want to use the card as an extension of your fields (increasing your ability to grow olives, grains, or grapes), as an extension of your farm (increasing the number of pigs you can keep, the deliveries you can make, or the coins you'll earn each turn), as a market wheelbarrow (providing a personal contract you can complete for valuable rewards), or as a hired assistant (each providing a unique and powerful ability to enhance your actions).
