Ruby-Spears Superman (DVD)

I love that they finally got this out on DVD, for the longest time, all I had was the first episode on tape and I got that off eBay. My favorite episode from this set is the team up with Wonder Woman. This is a great way to relive some fond childhood memories. Trivia Fact: This is the only animated series featuring Superman to use some of the theme music from the Christopher Reeve movies. Go out and buy this and relive that fun 80's childhood!

From the intro to the animated shorts at the end of each episode, this is one collection sure to please Superman & animation fans alike! The animation is great for a Saturday morning cartoon by animation veterans Ruby-Spears (Fangface, Plastic Man, etc.) Every episode ends with a "Family Album" short which is a toddler-aged Clark Kent getting into trouble using his powers. From veteran voice talents, to comic book writers, this collection is a must buy.
