Sturdier slats

The frame for the most part is sturdy and well crafted. My main issue is that the slats are very thin and would be unable to support an adult long term. I will be looking into some sort of board to put the mattress on top of to add some stability. I could press down and hear some slight cracking in the wood that the slats were made of. Would buy again, but just make sure to get something else to reinforce the strength. Manufacturer was also very efficient at sending me a replacement headboard when the first one I received was broken. Within a week had a replacement part.

exactly what I was looking for

Its hard to find many frame choices in the twin XL size--very pleased with this one. Does NOT squeak when you sit on it like the metal bed frame its replacing. Attractive with a nice finish, seems sturdy (after one night, but doesnt seem like it would get wobbly, either, based on the hardware), was easy to put together--my teenager did it (but it was necessary to have two people to position the wood pieces w/o damaging). We plan to buy the same bed in a different finish for another sons room. I would actually be interested in this frame in a king for myself.

Nice bed frame and headboard

This came packaged well. No damage during shipping. It comes with two sets of legs at the foot of the bed. One to position the bed low around 7 inches from the floor, and one to position it higher, around 16 inches from the floor. The slats that go under the mattress are sturdy but it flexes a lot if you press on one individual slat. If you put a mattress frame, you dont have to worry about it. If you put a mattress on it, a slat could crack under heavy pressure, like if bunch of people sit on the bed. Putting it together was easy. Directions were okay. It looks nice and the finish was even throughout.
