before making this purchase, I had never tasted tell a cherry black peppercorn before and I wanted to try it. I did research on what other people say the flavor is like and most people have said that it was a light black pepper flavor with less heat which was what I wanted. Now that I have purchased it I can say that that is probably spot on to what it tastes like however when I try to grind it in my pepper grinder on the lowest setting it still comes out in pretty large chunks. I never had that problem with regular black peppercorns. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with this type of peppercorn or if it's my grinder itself not being able to grind it properly. other than that everything about the purchase was great. The Sea salt is perfect and grinds perfectly. it tastes just as it should. like the ocean. I would definitely buy the salt again but not so much the pepper.
