horrible taste like the plastic wrap it came in

I love apricot a lot..this product taste like the plastic wrap it was packaged in so bad I had to spit it out..so I put in a glass container to see if the plastic flavor would go away..it seems to be baked in..I'll have to throw away and want my money back actually!!?
