Great value easy assembly just had to screw pieces together key is to pull the cord from bottom while doing this otherwise the pieces won't cooperate but easy to figure out great look light is awesome but it will depend on the type of light bulb you use on how bright you want the light I totally recommend it I mean for less than $20!

I bought two of these lamps. The color is perfect for the brown furniture I have. I also like that there's two ways to light. One of the lamps rings, on the whole lamp, did not screw into to light sockets to hold the bowls in place. So I put it where it won't get knocked around much and have the small bowl facing upward. Otherwise the bulb would melt the bowl as it's hanging on it. But the other lamp is in great shape.

A lot of lamp for the money!

A lot of lamp for the money! I am so pleased with this purchase. I bought the "silver", thinking it would be chrome, but it is grey. That was fine with me as the cabinets around my little office are grey, as are my curtains. It was so easy to put together, took me all of 5 minutes to twist the connected pieces together, no tools required. Just follow the instructions, especially when it comes to putting on the shades. And be gentle as you pull the cord through the rods. As inexpensive as this lamp was, I was surprised that it really is a 3-way, but it does use a 3-way bulb in the large globe, a 30-70-100 watt 3-way bulb is what I'm using.
