The filter housing for drinking water

Great product. Easy to install, used 3/4 in. sharkbite adapters, little teflon tape and no leaks. Checked my water pressure gauge prior to install and read 100 psi. Installed filter upstream of the gauge and turned water back on and no drop in pressure in the gauge or faucets. I liked the metal threaded inserts for the inlet and outlet. Much less likely to leak than plastic threads. That's what made me go with AO Smith. Good company known for their quality. Would definitely recommend.

Easy install, makes a huge difference in junk in our well water. It says not to use on hot water line but that's where I've installed it and it's working as I had hoped. It replaced an item that was exactly the same but almost 10 years old and had started leaking from the pressure release alive. Once the old one was removed, I realized it just needed an o-ring. I love this filter.
