Math guy (found 3 flaws among the tiles)

Wife and I loved the look. (33 boxes bought for kitchen and dining area) We had white spots on about 1 out of 6 tiles that wouldn't come off. About 1 tile on average was damaged with a puncture or slash per box. I used them in corners and along the wall and tried to cut off the defects. The worse part was 1 out of 4 tiles had paper on the tile underneath the paper you peel off in the corner(s). This left corners without adhesive and caused the tiles to not adhere in along the edge as well. I eventually started using construction adhesive to fix the problem while installing. In the end, it was about $200 less expensive than laying ceramic tile (based on $1 per tile). I have all the tools to lay tile and wish I would've taken that route, but I understand that it's not as DIY friendly or as quick.

Please Read Before You Buy

I like the overall look of the tiles but there are too many cons to recommend it. I got six boxes (60 square feet). Almost all of the tiles have little white dots on them - it looks like paint splatter - but it does not come off. Two tiles had started to delaminate along the edge, one tile was damaged along the edge, several tiles have what looks like under surface bubbles on them but you cant see it until light is shown on them, one tile was thinner on one edge and unusable. The tiles are easy to install. Its hard to say yet about adhesion. We are going to put heavy objects on them and see if we can get them to adhere better. The instructions say if you are installing on concrete or wood to put on a latex paint first (which I did). It also says these tiles are not good for places that get below 55 degrees. It really should say that in the description before you buy them. You might have to make the pictures bigger to see the white dots. I could only post two pictures. I was going to post the instructions but thought it best to show tile damage.
