Couldn't be more bummed about these

I just got these yesterday and sent my kid to school in them today for the first time. By the time she came home, they looked like she'd had them for years. The color had rubbed off, one of the logo stickers was gone completely, and the other was peeled halfway off. This was shocking to me because I wear my XtraTuf neoprene boots every day and I'm hard on them, yet they still look brand new after 6 months or so, which was why I wanted them for my daughter. The bigger problem is that I bought them from an online fishing retailer, so apparently XtraTuf doesn't stand by their product in this case and the warranty on them doesn't apply. I'm SO disappointed right now. I feel robbed and my faith in this company is badly fractured.
