This Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) from H&B Oils Center Co. is an organic antioxidant and preservative, derived from Citrus paradisi seeds using CO2 extraction. This golden yellow liquid is primarily used to prolong the shelf life of various carrier oils, oil serums, and creams by acting as a natural antioxidant. It contains gluten-free glycerine as a base and synthetic ascorbic acid for pH adjustment. Please note that due to its dense liquid nature, bottles are filled by weight, not volume, which means they may not appear completely full. For water-based formulations, it should be supplemented with a full-spectrum commercial preservative.
