Holmes True HEPA Allergen Remover Air Purifier Tower with Ionizer

I bought this as a replacement for a similar product. It lasted so long, I had to have another. I have birds and they create their own dust with their dander. I have this placed beside my the cage of my "worst offender", a cockatoo. I made sure the air that comes out blows away from the bird. When he gets to flapping his wings, you can see the dander go right into the back of the air purifier. The first filter doesn't look like much but it does a great job. Have had this purifier a month or so now and the secondary filters show no sign of use at all. I vacuum the first filter once a week and it does great. I cannot speak for the ionizer part of the machine, as you can't run that around birds, it does something to their lungs - online articles told me this, no actual proof. The only con of this product is that is very noisy, but running on "1" is a very tolerable level. Also the delivery was in about 2 days, can't really beat that.
