Great for the price

My indoor cat loves this thing! I had to put some nails in the ceiling around the top piece of the tension rod to stop it from slipping (before I had to keep repositioning it every couple days) but it's not really the fault of the manufacturer because I don't really know how else you would prevent slippage otherwise.

GREAT WITHOUT TOY!!!!!****

Let me first say I am so thankful I was home when this happened, I can't imagine what would have happened if I was not. I just got a little rescue kitten that looks like he may have been abused or tied up by his tail, there's a ring almost at the tip of his tail but it's healed up and doesn't have to have surgery or anything - I really hope it is still okay after this incident. This (still awesome) cat tree has a little part on one of the shelves to hang a toy, and came with a fuzzy ball with a black elastic string to tie up. The kitten was playing with it and when he went to jump down, the string managed to get tied up and constrict his tail. He was HANGING BY HIS TAIL FROM THIS STRING! I was lucky enough to be sitting right there and help him out but he's freaked out and his tail is bleeding badly. PLEASE take caution, I'm cutting off the string and the loop to attach it. I still think this is a great product, but thought everyone should know about the potential of a freak accident taking a kitties tail! Be safe.
