Fat-Cat Approved

I was worried that any tree I bought would be too small for these cats. After careful review, this one looked like the best option. It is a little small (if we could expand all of the dimensions by two inches, the tree-to-cat ratio would look more like the advertised photos) but they have no problem with it. Ren occupies nearly the entire volume of the hut part, but he fits, so he sits. When in loaf mode, the cats occupy the entire surface area of the upper platforms, but the raised edges help contain them and probably make them feel like they're squishing into a box. They seem pleased with the coziness factor.

GREAT WITHOUT TOY!!!!!****

Let me first say I am so thankful I was home when this happened, I can't imagine what would have happened if I was not. I just got a little rescue kitten that looks like he may have been abused or tied up by his tail, there's a ring almost at the tip of his tail but it's healed up and doesn't have to have surgery or anything - I really hope it is still okay after this incident. This (still awesome) cat tree has a little part on one of the shelves to hang a toy, and came with a fuzzy ball with a black elastic string to tie up. The kitten was playing with it and when he went to jump down, the string managed to get tied up and constrict his tail. He was HANGING BY HIS TAIL FROM THIS STRING! I was lucky enough to be sitting right there and help him out but he's freaked out and his tail is bleeding badly. PLEASE take caution, I'm cutting off the string and the loop to attach it. I still think this is a great product, but thought everyone should know about the potential of a freak accident taking a kitties tail! Be safe.
