I'm a ramen connoisseur, I've tried every flavor of every brand that's sold in the USA, and I've traveled extensively to Asia, too. This brand is comparable to the ramen sold at every 7-Eleven and grocery in South Korea. Buldak noodles are not instant like most American brands. They take 5-6 minutes to cook in simmering water. 4 minutes in fully boiling water, but I prefer 6 in water bubbling under. This particular flavor Carbonara is excellent, arguably Bukdak's best. But if you're not accustomed to hot/spicy food, don't add the full packet of sauce - start with 1/4 or 1/2 sauce packet and adjust accordingly. The cheese sauce is amazing and tastes the edge off the hot sauce. 5 stars in every category!
