Bar’s Leaks® Liquid Aluminum Radiator & Heater Core Stop Leak is the best radiator stop leak money can buy. Scientifically formulated to permanently seal coolant leaks that are the cause of most overheating problems. Liquid Aluminum is part of the next generation stop leak line which not only seal leaks, but also conditions the system. Contains Xtreme Cool™ which stops overheating and reduces water temperature. It is guaranteed to safely and easily seal leaks in plastic, aluminum and metal (copper / steel) radiators, heater cores, gaskets and freeze plugs. It will not harm the cooling system, no draining is required. Use with ALL types of traditional or extended life coolant including yellow, orange, pink, red, blue, purple and green silicate based & non-silicate based (OAT/HOAT) 50-50 mix antifreeze, and/or water. For most vehicles leaks seal instantly.

. Instructions:. ❶ Allow engine to cool. Make sure engine is cool enough so radiator cap can be safely removed. ❷ Shake well. Pour Liquid Aluminum™ directly into radiator. One bottle treats systems up to 4 gallons. Use 1/2 bottle for four cylinder engines. Tip: If direct access to radiator is not available, install in overflow tank. ❸ Fill radiator and overflow tank to proper level and reinstall cap. ❹ Drive/idle engine for 10 to 20 minutes. If leak continues, second application may be required or mechanical attention is needed. For severe leaks, like a blown head gasket, it is recommended to use Bar's Leaks Head Gasket Fix or Head Gasket & Cooling Sealant. ❺ Leave Bar's Leaks® Liquid Aluminum™ in cooling system for continued protection.

I admit it. I was skeptical. But I decided for the price I might as well try it. I followed the instructions exactly and after idling for 15 minutes, there was no longer a radiator leak! Unbelievable! My leak was in the reservoir so I could see it every day. I would also get constant reminders from my vehicle telling me to add coolant. That all stopped once I added this product. Almost 30 days have gone by and still no problem. Highly recommend.

I had a small antifreeze leak. Couldn't see it or find it but could smell antifreeze in the car cabin but not the exhaust. Put 2/3 of a bottle of this and it fixed the leak with no adverse impact on car radiator performance or car heat.

2008 Nissan Versa - Heater core leak
So i read so many reviews and have not heard a bad one from people that actually used this product and actually knew their problem was a heater core leak. Autozone advised against it and i read some reddit mechanic forums that advised against it too but the majority were positive experiences. any negative comments sounded like they actually didnt know what was causing the leak in their vehicles and some that made no sense because they obviously dont understand the science behind this product. So regardless of the advisement..and therefore Instead of bypassing my heater core ...i tried this and wouldnt you believe BAM it worked immediately! heater core was leaking coolant directly into drivers side in 2008 versa.
