This is a step up from the bag that my daughter previously had. The upgrades include : -a looser fit for guitar. The previous bag just barely fit over guitar. -the straps make it so you can walk to school or practice without carrying it on your side -the padding is a little thicker and softer against guitar -more support for the neck of guitar
