Our Tanzania 'Korongo' Peaberry is a dark-roasted, never bitter sensation from the southern highlands of East Africa. This peaberry bean attracts immediate attention with its pronounced sweet berry citrus and floral notes, full body and prominent acidity. ABOUT OUR COFFEES
The Tanzania Peaberry bean is is compliance with RFA and cultivated by intercropping with corn, beans, groundnuts, sunflower and ginger.� The peaberry cherry is hand-harvested and fermented, then dried on raised beds lined with parchment for 14-20 days�before curating 2-3 months.
Peaberry�beans are a rare occurrence in coffee beans�as the coffee flower is singularly pollinated, creating one small rounded bean rather than two flat sided�ones.
