Bought this a few months ago. It's works great. We have a motion sensor bulb outlet and works without any issues. It is too big to be inside of a standard glass light case. You really don't need one since this bulb is super huge. It is also very bright and provides good security lighting.

Would be a great deal if they lasted longer
Bought 6 of these for my garage, cause they're nice and bright. However they're garbage, already had 3 of them fail within a year. Tried to file a claim on brinks website since these carry a "lifetime warranty" but none of the numbers on the box come up as a valid product on the brinks warranty claim page.

Disappointed. It's bright enough directly beneath it but fails to light as much of the parameter as the incandescent bulbs did. A full moon is brighter. Not good for a yard light.
