THE RINGS ARE PLASTIC, AND WILL NOT RUST ON OUR LANAI LIKE THE LAST ONES DID. I THINK THEY WILL BE GREAT. THEY ARE EASY TO PUT ON THE CURTAINS, AS WELL AS THE ROD, AND SLIDE WITH EASE. THE CLIPS ARE OPEN, AND REQUIRE NO EFFORT TO PUT ON AND REMOVE.

I needed teal curtain hooks so I ordered these. Since some people mentioned they broke easily and since my shower curtain rod is an extension rod, I took it down and slid the hooks over the end instead of twisting the hooks apart and getting them over the rod. The hooks did seem like they might break getting them over the rod. I'm happy with them, match my curtain perfect.
