Sorry it took so long to provide a review, but my great niece would not try the helmet on for the longest time. She thought her head would get stuck in it and was scared to death to put it on. Anyhow, now that she's 6 years old, I finally got it on her, and she's been riding her gas powered minibike. She LOVES it. She just got her ears pierced and likes that we can open the front of the helmet up, and spread the sides of the helmet so her ears don't drag on the inner lining when putting it on or taking it off. Great helmet for tiny riders, just starting out.
