I purchased this ice tray set to use for making ice cubes out of fruit juices to be added to smoothies. I love how the cube sizes are small, so they blend easier in the blender and you can put the trays in the plastic container, so there's no worry about the trays getting bumped in the freezer by shifting food and the liquid getting spilled all over. Plus, I don't have to worry about a bag of frozen peas or broccoli shifting in the freezer and the corner of the bag sitting in the juice while it's freezing and then having to waste a good cube or two of frozen blueberry juice because it's now become one with a bag of mixed veggies.
