Championship HEAVY Show Nylon Choke Collar by Cherrybrook 20 inch White

I ordered an 18" choke collar and received it in an acceptable time. What I perceived "fine" to be was not what the seller apparently meant. It was tiny in diameter, more in keeping with use on a quite small dog. It was unusable because my dog's neck is now 15" in circumference and he weighs 40 pounds. I was afraid it would be too painful for a dog of this size when he pulled hard against the leash. At $6 it wasn't worth returning so I tossed it in the trash. I think a diameter of 3/8" would be much more practical that this less than 1/4" collar for a medium-sized animal. Best use is for a highly-trained show dog that would only rarely need to have its' collar restrict him...more of a reminder like when you roll up a newspaper to threaten a misbehaving animal, never meaning to actually hit him.
