I like the older model better
I bought this for my husband to replace one he had for about 15 years. The company no longer sells the model he had, but I thought what the heck, a newer model has to be better, right? The newer model is heavier (battery is larger). The old model gave an unobstructed view. The new light has a dark spot in the center. On a positive note, it has a hi-low beam that the older model did not. My overall opinion is that it is an expensive light that could use some improvement with the light bulb to avoid a dark spot in the center.
