Surprised by quality
I wasn't expecting this to be real wood since hardly anything is in this price point and was surprised by the solid wood parts and sturdiness. We have it put together and the kids have slept in it one night so I will update once we have a little more experience with it so far, I am impressed.

A lot of pieces!
If you enjoy building things look no further this bunk bed is for you. There's approximately 30 steps for you to follow. Also in the assembly Manuel they do recommend 6 inch mattresses for top and bottom. When I purchased this bed the description said 6inch for upper bunk and 8-10 for lower bunk. I ordered a 10 inch for the lower bunk and it's way too thick for it to fold into a couch. I definitely recommend a 6 inch twin for the upper and a 6 inch full for the bottom. Other then that, seems to be sturdy.
