Bring back some cotton!
Socks are soft and fit well. That said, they miss cotton content. They feel sleezy and rather thin inside my hiking boots which I wear almost daily. Previous Hanes socks, mostly cotton, with colored toe and heel provided a bit more bulk without crowding the fit of the boots and didn't slide around when I walk on rough ground. The extended size category is great for my size 10-11 feet.
