I have the 3 qt. size. Used organic store brand popcorn and it worked great. I popped two capful and it took longer on the popcorn setting for this much. Next time I will do one capful at a time as they are a little overcooked but not badly. Some kernels unpopped but it is not a major brand where almost all kernels will pop and real big. Took another reviewer's idea and I sprayed kernels with organic olive oil. I think it helps heat kernels for popping. Used organic coconut oil in lid and it melted well over popcorn. This is the best idea since sliced bread!
