I had been using Filtrete filters for years, but I had not had the opportunity to buy the highest quality kind because they weren't carried by my hardware store. I never thought of shopping for them at Walmart and never thought I needed more than what I was using. But lately I have had what I thought was a cold. It persisted for several months. I hadn't even thought about that when I bought them, but I went back and looked at the packaging that clearly says it filters all kinds of allergens from your air. I had even talked to my doctor about visiting an allergist, when the only problem I had was the air in my home, so these filters, saved me a co-pay and trip to a doctors office, and likely the cost of expensive prescriptions. Not only that, but the price for these is significantly less than you can find them elsewhere. A year's supply here is around $75 when I've seen them elsewhere for $100! These filters are definitely worth the money if you like to breathe nice, clean air!
