If you need storage of any kind, these work great!. I stacked 3 on their side for a small bookcase type storage for extra cooking items. I used zip-tires to secure them. I needed something tall enough for my fans to sit on; I stacked 2 for that. They are unfinished and sanded well enough that you can paint with a brush or spray paint. If I need more storage, I know where I will go!

Great multi-use crate!

I needed something to cover up a WIFI box in my bedroom because that's the only place it could go. Walmart also had the larger size of 18 inches tall. So I painted it to match my room and set the boxes inside and turned the opening of the crate facing the wall. It's doesn't take up much space and was perfect for it. I have used the crates in the past to make a tall book case that served as a room divider.
