Firm and comfortable
This is a nice firm mattress. It did expand fully fairly quickly, maybe a few hours, we did wait a full 24hrs before sleeping on it. It's not too firm that it's hard, very nice support and as a hot sleeper I will say that it stays fairly cool. I didn't feel like it warmed up like other memory foam type beds I have used in the past. This is being used as a kids/guest bed so I'm not entirely picky about it but I still want something comfortable for guests and this works great for that!
Awesome Mattress
Decided to skip the toddler bed for my almost 3 year old and go straight to a twin. After researching multiple stores/sites and brands, I kept coming back to this Sersper mattress. I finally pulled the trigger and I can’t overstate how please I’ve been with it. Setting it up was a breeze. The mattress didn’t have any weird odors out of the box. The mattress itself is extremely quiet and does an excellent job of not transferring motion without being impossible to maneuver on (this is critical when you have a toddler who needs cuddles to fall asleep, but whose room you don’t want to spend the night in). This mattress is also super quiet. My older child has a similar mattress (8 inch twin hybrid) from a different retailer and brand, and the springs have been creaky and loud since day 1. Not the case at all with the Sersper mattress. Might as well call it the “whisper” mattress instead. The only negative I have about this mattress is that the edge support is nearly non existent. Maybe this isn’t an issue with a good bed frame, but without one it’s definitely something to be aware of. This issue isn’t that important for how we’re using the mattress so it didn’t affect my rating at all. Hoping this mattress stands the test of time, as we’re considering replacing our queen mattress with one of these in the not so distant future!
